Filed Under (Videos) by Dominic on 15-03-2007

I found this video way back when it had under 1000 hits and within hours it had over 500000.

I didn’t post this up cos most of my actual friends had seen this already but not everyone one of you have that chance to be supercool and hang with us so here it is again.

Biology 101

Filed Under (Videos) by Ivan on 14-03-2007

As some of you know, i have recently been learning a lot about all things BIOLOGY. A few days ago, something caught my attention about the way some flatworms (Platyhelminthes for bio nerds) mate. They go through a courtship known as penis fencing/fighting. I found that quite amusing as did the whole lecture theatre. Here is a link for the enjoyable video:

The Photo Shoot

Filed Under (Photos, Random Happenings, Travel) by Vincent on 14-03-2007

While it appears as though the number of posts coming through to Cameland is falling to a sudden halt, behind the scenes we are actually spending many long hours working tirelessly to bring you something wonderful every day.

For example, you may not know, but on Saturday the 10th of March 2007, the crew from Cameland actually went all the way to the beach at Edithvale to do a photo shoot on location. This is for our top secret project that if successful, may propel some of us to stardom. And in preparation, here’s a basic mockup of what John’s album might look like when he becomes a popstar.

updates….

Filed Under (News) by Dominic on 12-03-2007

As some of you may have noticed there has been some apparent slow down of updates within recent days, this is because the general laziness and procrastination of some co-writers including myself. Even so, i have concocted a “delicious” and somewhat “fabulous” excuse;

“i fucken cant be stuffed..”

*just kidding* *no seriously…so lazy* *damn this doesnt make sense good* *damn again*

Well on a brighter note, new posts are pending….i still have to go pick up photos from vincents and at the moment i think i just have some kind of crazy creative block. Hopefully these new pictures from vincent will inspire me to have another go at something to write.

So to tide you over until i get my act together here are some pictures that were all at some stage a visual aid to one of my “back up posts” in case of such an even like this was to occur :O

Filed Under (News, People comics, Photos, Videos) by Junii on 11-03-2007

Im guessing not many of you guys know this yet but recently Tony’s dog got pregnant and had babies!!! and they are so CUTE~~~

Well lets begin with how these love dogs met… It all began one shiny afternoon when Milo was was coming back from school. He was in a good mood and all since he got his first D+ on a test (Milo is a dumb dog, seriously) so he decided to enjoy the day by spending it delightfully playing and running on the beach.

The REAL banner

Filed Under (News, Photos) by Vincent on 10-03-2007

Now that John has lost his virginity while revealing the new Cameland banner, I can share some exclusive secrets.

Although the original banner did not get heavily Photoshopped (we went to great lengths to avoid excessive manipulation - we even had to track down John’s long lost twin to pose in the photo and find an obscure radioactive material to make ourselves glow blue), I must admit to you that the man that is the centrepiece of this photo did see some cosmetic changes courtesy of Photoshop.

You see, those are not his real shoulders. But the real thing was so massive that it was at risk of obscuring everything else in the picture. Here is the original:

Unusual statistics…

Filed Under (News) by Vincent on 09-03-2007

Once a day, the company that hosts this website prepares a report about the visitors that have visited (how many times they visit, what links are they clicking on, what browser they’re using, etc). Something that caught my interest in the list of search queries used on search engines to find Cameland was this:

Spot the difference again

Well after a long wait here is the next installment. After being said that I look like a dude from “Heroes” an idea came up that someone else also looked like another dude from “Heroes”. That is that our great mate Somon Im aka. Samus, Simon, etc. looked somewhat like Hiro Nakamura played by Masi Oka. Here it is:

lisa’s second post. republished and FINISHED!

Filed Under (Travel) by lise on 07-03-2007

i know you guys just can’t get enough of me and was like totally waiting for me to post up my second … what do you call it?.. second post? how entirely odd but anyway, you dont need to give yourself excuses because you just want to know more about me. The lisaness is growing onto you now!

i would like to take this opportunity to say that, Vincent, please DO NOT publish someone’s post thing unless YOU are certain that it is finished! However it may seem that this post was finished … it wasn’t. And if you actually read or even skimmed the post, you would have then realised that it wasn’t finished AT ALL. so for the sake of other posts, i would strongly recommend you leave the publishing to the author of that post. Thank you.

Vince: There was a backlog of unpublished posts, and with all the other posts in the drafts list I thought it was a fair assumption to make. For the record, I did read the post before publishing. Lack of coherence doesn’t suggest to me that the post is unfinished: just look how disjointed every other post in this blog is. Anyway, I’ve fixed your images and added a page break. Oh, and think of a title because it does help to have something to click on for the link. Yes, you can edit your posts!=)

So basically in this section, i’m going to talk about Korea! As you may not have known, i joined a tour to go to korea and you probably also didn’t know that my korea 5 day trip started the moment i stepped onto the airplane at 12.30 am on first of the first 2007. YES while you guys were out partying and bumming in the city, poor little lisa was at hk airport waiting to get onto the plane. It was extremely awkward because in the airport, it was like as if it was any other day, no celebration, no extremely high people getting all excited because its another year gone by… nothing. i remember just sitting there and the new year just went by, just like that.

My flight was 3.5 hours long and as you can see i didn’t sleep much. The moment we got to Korea it was like 0 degrees so it was freakin cold!! And our first stop was to go to an extremely old temple that was kinda burnt down and the only thing that was left was the extremely big buhdda, which is why it was famous. I absolutely adore the Korean culture because they are so cute (their personality in general that is)! Like as in what they do and their reactions and stuff, it’s just soo adorable! Please consider this photo as an example..korea-people.JPG
