Recently during holidays and before, a couple of us started playing Gunbound again.
In previous online games (*ahem* Maple Story) that we have experienced, “female” characters seemed to get extra attention from male characters. So when we made our own accounts we tested this theory out by all (Dom, John, Vincent and I) making female accounts. We also decided to be Japanese for fun ^^.
Instantly as soon as we started playing, all these male characters from Singapore, Malaysia and Australia alike started to try to chat up and pick us up which was quite strange :S.
One of them sent a photo of himself, “UltraSmexy” was his name (decide for yourself ladies :P), trying to get a photo of one of us (hot Japanese girls) in return.
This is the result:
Vincent and I laughed so hard when we saw this considering he looks so try hard and plays Gunbound trying to pick up random girls.
You might have noticed by now (if you haven’t, keep refreshing the page) that a new banner has finally been uploaded. Yes, it is no other than esteemed visitor and occasional poster, John Nguyen. It’s a bit of a rush job, but more will be coming in the new few days.
John has now been featured more than anyone else in the site banner. Here’s the hall of fame:
John (11 appearances)
Albin (2 appearances)
Dom, Ivan, me (1 appearance)
Everyone else
UPDATE: I have now added a few more banners, some of which are rarer than others. I won’t show you any of them though - the fun is in discovering them. Read the rest of this entry »
… so imagine what the world would be like if there were six of them.
Thankfully, using hyper-advanced technology whose existence you are meant to be unaware of, we managed to create five clones of Dom and keep them long enough to arrange this photograph, to show you what such a world would be like. Unfortunately, this still image was unable to capture the worldwide chaos caused by the proliferation of Dominics. But this idea probably sounds absurd to you, so here’s the proof that human cloning is a very real concept.
Really I don’t know why I watch these videos but even though I don’t understand I always laugh when the people in the audience or crew laugh, I dunno if its a peer pressure type thing to laugh or because that guys laugh is so distinct and weird. Anyways heres a couple.
From what I’ve gathered Saku Saku is some kind of morning program where Kaela talks to these puppets and has guests and so forth. I think the puppet, especially this one is a bit of a smart ass. I think whats funny is the way the puppet talks and moves, hes quite life-like even though his face expression never changes. His voice is also pretty funny, well just the sound of it anyways. The puppets name is z560 or some crap like that.
Kaela’s Pun
^Basically Kaela is talking about how there are bugs flying around and that shes itchy but then z56 (puppet) thinks shes talking about crabs (makes your pubes itchy) and then kaela says like “no no no, its something different” and goes into some kind of tantrum then they repeat her saying it over a couple times. In the beginning they punch on too and the sound effects are cool in this.
First Love (yeh the utada song)
^In this nothing really much happens, but at the very end they talk about First Love by Utada and the puppet doesnt know it and sings at the end and it just sounded funny to me, especially when he sings “hikaru!” sounds so constipated lol.
