Well, Dom has the unusual request of wanting pictures of himself “having fun” at various places, so here they are.

More will be added when I get around to processing them.

So what exactly happened? It was a really nice day, and Dom thought it would be a good idea to head off to the beach…

But as we know, Dom loves his Youtube videos, and tried to re-enact one of them. It involved burying him…

And leaving him in the cold as it got dark, while we tried (unsuccessfully) to lure some seagulls towards him…

And at some point in the day, we got hungry and had a really shitty meal, part of which ended up on my camera and took a while to clean off, as well as whatever got on my camera bag which had to spend half an hour in the laundry tub.

My narrative skills are suck.

Okay, this is a bit of a useless post which doesn’t have any interesting pictures or videos. But you can get a prize! So it’s totally worth reading.

As many of you know, I have a ridiculous amount of photos sitting around on my computer (about 16,000 taken by myself in total, 10,000 since March) and for a while I’ve been planning to get some prints done. Like proper, A4-sized large prints. And getting the best ones printed on canvas. But selecting what to print is going to be a difficult process, and I’m horrible at judging my own work.

So, I’m inviting you, Cameland readers, to help pick the best photos to print. And the reward? You get to keep some of the prints (of your own selection). This would be much easier if my photos were online, but they’re not so you’ll have to come over to do the selection.

Everyday when I catch the bus home, I get a lot of time to think, sometimes in peak hour - a little too much time

Anywho I was thinking about how much my life was different now to how it was maybe, 3-4 years ago. Man, how much things change from phase to phase. I’ve labelled it in my mind as 3 phases basically.

Late Primary School - When console games meant a lot, well at least to me. I used to look back at those competitions on Video hits and wish that I could win a free PS2 or something like that and now that I have the money and crap for that stuff, I don’t even have the slightest urge to want to buy it.

Year 789 Lah - The land of fitting in and being “cool” . I could see the little groups and cliques forming all around. Then theres all that “discovering” and girls and shit. But funny looking back at that shit, its incredibly embarrassing for me. Like the crap I did and the stuff I thought…..

Okay fuck the phases I cbf with that anymore, too hard to explain it. So we’ll just get into wack bitches. I will try to cycle through the most interesting ones or the ones that I remember. They all have varying levels of wackness, but even though it didn’t seem wack to me back then, it sure does seem wack when I’m coming home on the chelsea bus.

Well everyones heard of RPG’s, but now the latest acronym game has taken the world by storm. R-R-G. Rate the Random Girl. I hope this comes a weekly thing, but for now I only have about 5 people rating, but thats good enough for now.

So how it works is, that I show everyone a youtube video of the girl and then get everyone to rate her, its a somewhat independant vote, not everyone knows what other people have voted but sometimes they do. Anyways…

This weeks girl is Han Chae Young, I really have no idea who she is but its meant to be “random” anyways.

Bit old, but it’s a classic - and I finally found one with an English translation:

In the face of the recent content thievery controversy, I decided to do some more investigation into people who were using stuff from Cameland. The results were truly shocking.

First up, we have “J-Mee” on MySpace. Be warned, like the majority of MySpace pages, viewing it will cause irreparable damage to your eyes. Fortunately, Dom did look further and realised that this page was bringing in hits because Chau used a Cameland hosted image in a comment.

Second, we have another MySpace page, belonging to “Dan Newguy”, a 21 year old guy from Houston who claims to have eyes in the back of his head. Because he is less of an attention whore, his profile is actually private.

Next up, we have a blog called “BlankGeneration-PlayLoud” (CamelCaps and no spaces make you trendy, especially when the title has no meaning). The guy seems to like taking photos of his food and has taken three posts from Cameland - see the last post on the first page and the first two posts on the second page. Judging from the hit count, it looks like the blog does not have any visitors except the author himself.

Fourth, we have some weird fan forum for some guy called Matt Czuhry. In that thread (look at the third picture), it appears that one frame from a comic post has been taken and placed by itself, all out of context in a “random shit” thread.

Finally, we “p00nt00n” from Nexopia which has directly linked this image. Okay, half of Cameland’s posts are taken from other sites, but at least go to the effort to save it and upload it yourself as is the case here. It also prevents us from suddenly replacing the image with something stupid.

Sorry, I can’t be bothered finding/making an image to go with the post. Here’s a totally unrelated photo of the Sandridge Bridge from a recent adventure. Someone smashed all the glass panels on the display, hence the fencing.

Okay, everyone else is just posting stuff they found on the internet while searching for pr0n, but I am here to bring back the essence of Cameland: original content.

15 ways to maintain a sane level of insanity.

1. At lunch time, sit in your parked car with sunglasses on and point a hair dryer at passing cars. See if they slow down.

2. Page yourself over the intercom. Do not disguise your voice.

3. Every time someone asks you to do something, ask if they want fries with that.

4. Put your garbage can on your desk and label it “in”.

5. Put decaf in the coffee maker for 3 weeks. Once everyone has gotten over their caffeine addictions, switch to espresso.

6. Finish all of your sentences with “In accordance with the prophecy.”

7. dont use any punctuation (when speaking)

8. As often as possible, skip rather than walk.

9. Specify that your Drive-through order is “to go.”

10. Sing along at the opera.
