So I was scouring through my photos drive (54 GB of photos and counting - please don’t ask me for DVDs with everything) and I found this photo which I took a few months ago, and don’t recall posting here. If I did post it here before, it’s to show the newbies.

Basically, using a crude DIY system of a long telephoto lens, a lens hood and a normal lens and lots of sticky tape, I can take photos with a large amount of magnification, sort of in the range of a cheap microscope.

And yes, it is focussed poorly, but it is impossible to make small adjustments to the focus when you have to be precise to tenths of millimetres.
