So even though the Rye vids are AWESOME, the only thing to make them more awesome would be including music and sound effects, its totally lame and literally took me hours, but I think it adds a nice touch.

Day Nine – Friday, Hitting the Clubs, Kangaroo Island
Waking up to Andy and Bo returning from work at around 12pm I find Dom getting ready for the trip to Kanga. It’s also hard trying to sleep when you have little kids punching you in the face telling you to play with them. After a while the whole family is here ready to go off on there “wild” adventure.

Day Seven – Wednesday, Working on The Farm, going to The Bay
It is my first farm job ever and I am working with Bo. Only one of the trio can work at a time and since I don’t get centrelink, I am forced to do it. Let me tell you people who are virgins to farm work, do not do it. My back is crooked and my fingers feel like it will split open and scream. Working on the grape farms sucks big balls. A couple of hours into the day and I get called up by the boys to ask me if I wanted to go to Kangaroo Island. WTF? Are you serious? Why would I wanna waste my money going to a shitter version of Adelaide? I come home after the grueling 10 hours of farm work to find out that those bastards are actually going to go Kanga Island without me.

After 5 mins of waiting we just left back for the plaza just to fuck around in the car park. While exploring the perimeter of the plaza we were confronted by a mysterious black cat, which soon became our temporary friend. We sat around patting the cat and playing around and decided to go find some food for the cat. So we scavenged some food out of bins and all to feed this cat that wouldn’t even eat the food we found it so we just decided that was it then. We soon grew tired of Blacky and decided to return home. When we arrived back home they were finally awake and we could now have our rest.

Day Four – Sunday, NYE Party at Ora’s
Waking up and it was NYE, time to party. Since Adelaide weather is not as random as Melbourne’s weather we were stuck we slowly inclining weather in the mid 30’s. Good time to spend in the pool. Slowly all the guests started to show up and the party was getting started. Dom and I decided to start up the Spa for our own personal use, but we did not know that it would take so long to set up. So for a couple of hours we were cleaning and setting up the spa for later while everyone else was enjoying themselves.

Day Six – Tuesday, Fishing with Ora
Today we felt like going out shopping or something at one of the many plazas here they have in Adelaide. On the way to going to Titipee Plaza (whatever is called), Ora calls us up to see if we wanted to go fishing and since I love to fish I wanted to go. Dom and I decides to go fishing and Andy goes shopping. We drive off to Port Adelaide, and since Ora is a gangster driver we are there fairly quick. We went fishing under a road bridge with a clear sign saying “no fishing allowed” but since we are with gangsters no rules apply to us. We met some of Ora’s friends that were already there fishing and they made it seem like it was easy to catch fish so me and Dom give it a noob try and we just looked so nub in front of the guys. After a while spending some time catching seaweed we move across to a different area. And still catching seaweed we move again. We do this for a couple of hours and we finally just give up. The fish up in Adelaide are to smart for us. I guess the highlight of that day was seeing the dolphins swim by but the rest of the day was like poofy. For those of you who know that Dom’s really into his jean he got muscle on his jeans and it reeks.

Day One – Thursday, Meeting the Family, Barnacle Bills
We arrive at Bo’s house. We meet some of the family; Bo’s mum, dad, little sister and older brother. We were too hungry to sleep straight away so we went to go eat at Barnacle Bills. Afterwards we came straight back and slept.

At Ora’s we were having a guys night in playing pool, poker and some lame ass drinking games.

This is like the most ridiculous blog in the history of cameland. You all may remember when John, Andy and I all went for a trip to Adelaide right? Well John managed to blog almost every single day of our trip. So here is the first introduction, I will continue to upload the rest later on this week. Check for updates everyday!

If all of you haven’t noticed it yet, we are in Adelaide. Yes that is right, Me, Dom and Andy are living life in the country, for now.

HORSE the band, is an incredibly cool and hilarious band. I mean, even the name is humorous to me. They’re from the west coast, USA and play a type of experimental metalcore. The interesting thing about them though is there is one member of the band, who amazingly looks a lot like Napoleon Dynamyte, but more amazingly the instrument he plays is a synth keyboard hooked up to a “Little Sound DJ” which allows him to connect a gameboy catridge to make a whole host of 8bit sounds.

Early in their existence they labelled them selves as “nintendocore” jokingly. However, many of their song names or meanings are game references. “Birdo”, “House of Boo”, “Cutsman (megaman)”. Some of their songs have some pretty funny lyrics, and some are just beautiful, all while being ridiculously chaotic. I love it!

Horse the band are currently on EARTH tour, where they are planning to play in 45 countries self funded, mainly because “No one wants to tour with them, they are scared of us” haha.

Anyway here is the bands video clip for the song “A million exploding suns” a reference to xmen sentinels. The clip is soooo stupid. Kinda cool ending though.

I will just remind you, this is not some fan video, its the band’s actual video they produced. lol…

Haha, well about 5 minutes ago my mum entered my room and asked “Dominic, have you taken your Fathers car out?” I hastily replied, “No of course not, why would I do such a thing” she then replied angrily with “Well the car has been damaged!”. At this point I was shitting my pants but still laughing inside. I suprisingly said, “Oh really? Where?” she then went on to say the wheel is damaged. I of course, already knew this because in a failed reverse park off a hill, I had rolled forward into the curb, putting a 2cm scratch into my dads chromed hubcabs. She then questioned if I had the keys, which I did of course. So I handed them over and she told me not to do it again.

Oh well, such is life hahahahahah.

Well as you may or may not remember I was involved in a organising and participating in a world wide jeans wearing contest, which resulted in users from around the world voting for who they thought wore the jeans the best in that 12 month period.

Much to my disappointment, I didn’t win, although I came second which isn’t too bad. Heres a look at the top 3 showing the prizes they receive.

Here I will just pick up any random song I think is cool, and go onto say why I think its cool.

Today I’m going to choose “A Letter To Elise” by The Cure.

Well what I think this song is about is: A boy thinking about ending a relationship with a girl because hes beginning to realise that things aren’t really working out even though he really wanted it to.

I think thats like, hes trying to make a connection with her, but he can’t, as in he can’t feel those strong feelings for her like he should.

Here he talks about his regret, where he thought he would be able to keep all his promises and the “make believe” ran out, so maybe that’s like the love they first had. I’m thinking it could be like when you get into a new relationship, you are just all googly eyed that it tends to blind you from all the things that could go wrong”

In this verse he talks about trying to fix up the broken relationship but its not working, like the metaphor of the falling sand, so as soon as he tries to fix something, it goes wrong and hes just exhausted all options.
