Lukehimself once sang this song outside my window, it was amazing. Not that it applies to me though ;)

Yesterday I also lost my ipod, inside my own house, inside my own room. HOW DID THIS HAPPEN?!

There were so many fucking flies today, its just not funny anymore. I saw luke on the way home, we had a chat and a fly flew into my mouth and I swallowed it, worst feeling ever.

I did finish school today though, hoping my marks are good enough to get into Uni, I should just barely scrape though (I hope!)

Faces of Cameland

Here is a small collection of the faces of various writers and readers of Cameland. They were taken on a night when Dom decided to go drown his sorrows.

Too lazy to caption them or to find more.

How did this happen…???

So I was in class today and I was sitting in the back row with Dino, 2 rows up from me was MJ (Korean student in her 30s) and Sathira (young, dirty looking sri lankin guy). It was close to the end of class and I could see Sathira’s leg bopping up and down, like what you do when your thinking or bored.

Then I noticed something very strange……as he was shaking his leg up and down I could see some blue fabric emerging from the inside of his pants and onto the back of his shoe. Jokingly, I whispered to Dino, “hey, check out Sathiras leg man, its like his undies coming off!” We both started laughing as his leg shook more and more and this blue garment came further out of his pants, to our horror/amazement it was actually Read the rest of this entry »

Skull Jeans Contest - has finally started!

Filed Under (Doms Life) by Dominic on 01-09-2007

Well I’ll make this quick, many many months ago there were ideas being thrown about on mynudies.com about having a contest. Not just any regular contest but a year long contest for 30~ people around the world to wear the same pair of jeans to see who could produce the most beautiful fade at the contests end. So everyone got together trying to come up with a brand and cut that everyone would like and want to wear for a year non stop. Heaps of stuff was discussed but in the end the decided brand and cut would be the Skull 5010xx (raw) by Fabfour Japan.

After we had decided there came the problems of getting 30 pairs of jeans to people from japan, so we asked around at one of the US distributors to see if they could give us some kind of “deal” if we bought a large number of pairs at once. We managed to get a deal from Blue In Green SOHO but when I looked over the price I realised it would actually still be cheaper to get it straight from Japan instead. So I took it upon myself to contact Fabfour myself, got a very positive reply from their rep Shinichi-san. He said he would be happy for us to use Skulls jeans in the contest and that he would try to create a “limited” contest model with a special certificate and prizes.

Anywho after many many emails back and forth between Shinichi-san and myself things were sorted and ready to start. The date it would start is actually Today, the 1st of Sept. Except I don’t have my jeans yet due to some stock problems….so I will be a bit behind.

So anyway the jeans have a special “skull jeans contest” patch, with our names imprinted with our special lot numbers on the inside of the pocket bags, entry certificates of all contestants have also been prepared. The prize for the winner is a Skull Denim banner, which is huge and comes in a wooden box with Japanese writing over the front of it.

Well as the date stands there were around 38 people originally signed up to compete but a few dropped off. The contest thread can be viewed Here

The blog that Skull created for the contest can be viewed Here

Overall, I’m happy that its even gotten off the ground and that so many people wanted to participate, seems so long ago that I started sending those first emails to Fabfour and now its finally begun. Especially with me organising it, I have no idea how it went so smoothly. Thanks to all those who helped put it together!

EDIT: Thank you Bobbejaan for letting me use your picture :D

Dominic at the beach

Filed Under (Doms Life, Photos) by Vincent on 26-08-2007

Well, Dom has the unusual request of wanting pictures of himself “having fun” at various places, so here they are.

More will be added when I get around to processing them.

So what exactly happened? It was a really nice day, and Dom thought it would be a good idea to head off to the beach…

Dom at the beach

dom-sit.jpg

But as we know, Dom loves his Youtube videos, and tried to re-enact one of them. It involved burying him…

dom-sand.jpg

And leaving him in the cold as it got dark, while we tried (unsuccessfully) to lure some seagulls towards him…

dom-buried.jpg

And at some point in the day, we got hungry and had a really shitty meal, part of which ended up on my camera and took a while to clean off, as well as whatever got on my camera bag which had to spend half an hour in the laundry tub.

Lisa tries to be contemplative as she looks towards the endless expanse of water, all alone…

And there’s John, to the rescue…

Ivan relaxes in front of the building at the beach which looks heaps better in photos than it does in real life…

He likes the idea of football:

And becomes part of a very posed marking contest with John.

Wack bitches

Filed Under (Doms Life, Random Happenings) by Dominic on 22-08-2007

Everyday when I catch the bus home, I get a lot of time to think, sometimes in peak hour - a little too much time :-x

Anywho I was thinking about how much my life was different now to how it was maybe, 3-4 years ago. Man, how much things change from phase to phase. I’ve labelled it in my mind as 3 phases basically.

Late Primary School - When console games meant a lot, well at least to me. I used to look back at those competitions on Video hits and wish that I could win a free PS2 or something like that and now that I have the money and crap for that stuff, I don’t even have the slightest urge to want to buy it.

Year 789 Lah - The land of fitting in and being “cool” 8-) . I could see the little groups and cliques forming all around. Then theres all that “discovering” and girls and shit. But funny looking back at that shit, its incredibly embarrassing for me. Like the crap I did and the stuff I thought…..

Okay fuck the phases I cbf with that anymore, too hard to explain it. So we’ll just get into wack bitches. I will try to cycle through the most interesting ones or the ones that I remember. They all have varying levels of wackness, but even though it didn’t seem wack to me back then, it sure does seem wack when I’m coming home on the chelsea bus.

kk I got up to here before, sana is telling me to call her. I finish later :P

Peace

I’m so fucken bored, but I remember I was at maccas a couple days ago and usually when I order a meal, I always feel unsatisfied and feel I could eat another burger. So this time I ordered 2 burgers instead of just the one. I finished it but holy fuck, I’m not doing that again, felt like shit the rest of the day.

FYI, I had a large big mac meal and a quarter pounder. While I was there I also saw this hot girl with a mobile phone.

Video unrelated, but I guess this is for John.

… so imagine what the world would be like if there were six of them.

Thankfully, using hyper-advanced technology whose existence you are meant to be unaware of, we managed to create five clones of Dom and keep them long enough to arrange this photograph, to show you what such a world would be like. Unfortunately, this still image was unable to capture the worldwide chaos caused by the proliferation of Dominics. But this idea probably sounds absurd to you, so here’s the proof that human cloning is a very real concept.
