Polaroids!

Too lazy to come up with original content, so I’ll just steal something from my own blog:
My D70 is still waiting for repairs, and they called today saying that it won’t be another 7 days until they can even take a look to find out what’s wrong. Oh well, I sort of understand, with the repair centre being closed for Christmas and all.
What does that mean to me? I have to find other ways to take photos. I’ve finished two rolls of film on the F90X and they should be ready tomorrow, although I won’t have a way to put them online as of yet. I’m too impatient and like my photos immediately as I do with a digital camera, so over Christmas, I’ve been getting myself busy with my vintage Polaroid camera.
The black and white, type 667 film is brilliant, and that’s what I’ll be showing you in today’s post. Be warned, I don’t have a proper scanner and these are just photos of the prints taken when my D70 still worked. They look heaps better in real life, nice contrasty blacks and brilliant sharpness.
My very first photo, I was pleasantly surprised.

I really liked this one, shows something you don’t usually find in Melbourne.

I have more! I’ll add them in a later post. I’m really, really disappointed that I don’t have a proper gallery to put up my photos and all that I’ve had in the meantime is my Facebook gallery (~400 photos).

Then we headed to Taiwan the next day.
At night we went to some night market and saw some strange things.
On the second day we went to some watered down mountain theme park.

There was also a mini Lethal weapon with just as much pain on the ears.

HERE WE GO, TOKYO! vol.3.1
Filed Under (Galleries, Photos, Travel) by Junii on 08-01-2008
Its been a while since my last post, and that is because I am a lazy mofo who cares for only himself. So I guess you guys have been wondering what I have been up to since New Years 08. Well to tell you the truth, not much. The star of this post gets really tired you see, and it runs in the family. So pretty much all we have been doing is going out, chilling and hanging in the city of lights. And a little shopping here and there where we can. So without further a due we continue our journey.
DAY …? meh
After New Years we decided to take a break the next day. But that didn’t really happen. Throughout the next few days we went to visit the little cities in and around Tokyo.
First stop Akihabara, Electric town.

Seems I have lots of time today to write about the new year n all. So without a due HERE WE GO, TOKYO! vol. 2
DAy 2
We spent the day pretty much exploring the city, exspecially Shibuya and Harajuku. On sunday the freaks are meant to come out but we only saw a few of them because it was raining.

Queensland, a diary in pictures - day 1

With the new year in, I have decided that it’s time I started to post the photos from our Queensland trip. I tallied the photos and have found that we took a total of 2991 photos during the trip, on my camera (which is now non-functional).
This will probably dominate all of Cameland’s posts for the next week or two, and steal the thunder from John’s trip to Japan as well as our New Year’s celebrations, but what the heck.
Anyway, on to the photos!
Today, I will be bringing you the photos from Day 1 - the drive from Melbourne to Sydney. Following is a selection of 55 out of the 311 total photos taken on that day.
Our first stop was at the Athol Road shops, because Dom for some reason decided that the day we were leaving was a good day to go to the post office to run some errands. (9:14am)

Well I’m sure that most of you guys would like to know what I’ve been up to and all so I will be your virtual tour guide to TOKYO. (I’ll try to keep this post short and simple because its quite hard to making a post while being here in JAPAN and having fun n all, if you know what I mean. wait, you dont because you aint here. BAWAHAHHAHAHA)
So HERE WE GO, TOKYO! Starring Junii (a.k.a John Nguyen) and his family.

Jon: Whoa! What is that? Jenn: Dont Stare. Smile and be nice. Its just some Whiteman.
