Cameland

As many of you may have noticed (or not), I have disappeared off the radar in recent weeks. Alas, the sad news is that I’ve been short of time (and ideas) to contribute to Cameland.

But, you eagerly ask, what have I been up to during my hiatus from this blog?

Well, I have been trying to beat Dom in his crazy study plans. And the first thing I do is make sure that I am sufficiently energised for many long nights of study, where most of my time is spent on things other than study but on more important things like getting really far in the impossible quiz. Here was the end result:

few weeks ago i sponsored an event with a local television, they did an interview with latin rap star oz, the one wearing the red cap and quisqueya which is a merengue singer group. both are very popular here in puerto rico, but i am totally clueless about them.  in fact during that time instead of being star struck i was worrying about the thai fisherman pants that i was  wearing,  i swear this is the last time i will be wearing this silly costume, the pants are folded and held only by a waist string, i almost lost it couple of times because of the restaurant rush. 

the other thing that worried me that day is when this guy sat down and shocked everyone because he starts eating  the leftovers of  the singers while they are still there and it was captured by the television crew which  aired the clips all over the island even up to new york, i think that is pigginess to a whole new level!

OMG! During my bus ride to school today, I saw a strange and familiar face. It was that weird and inhospitable dude that we had a long chat (and hassled non-stop) with at EB during the Wii Launch at Glen Waverly. That jerk didn’t even want to sell Zelda to me.

I have no idea who that weird looking ginger on the side is :S

While it appears as though the number of posts coming through to Cameland is falling to a sudden halt, behind the scenes we are actually spending many long hours working tirelessly to bring you something wonderful every day.

For example, you may not know, but on Saturday the 10th of March 2007, the crew from Cameland actually went all the way to the beach at Edithvale to do a photo shoot on location. This is for our top secret project that if successful, may propel some of us to stardom. And in preparation, here’s a basic mockup of what John’s album might look like when he becomes a popstar.

The most amazing thing happened today and of course like all amazing things it happened on the bus *chuckles* sorry…i was just thinking about Ivans post about that hot black chick wants to gobble up his one eyed snake…Anyways!

Yesterday on my way to school, a lot of fucked up shit happened. First of all, as I walked outside my house I saw the bus go past me which meant waiting for at least another 15 minutes. I thought to myself, that’s ok I can still make it to uni on time thinking that I still have another 50 minutes. Well, unfortunately the next bus didn’t come until 35 minutes earlier. So much for a “SMART BUS”.

As I got on the bus I was just hoping that the bus would hurry up so i could catch the connecting one. When it reached Springvale something surprising happened. A HUGE (and i emphasise that as much as i can) woman sat next to me squashing me towards the window. I was trapped like that for at least 10 minutes. This is how i believe the incident to look like:

When it was time for me to get off the damned bus i felt as though i was liberated from the depths of hell. Thank god.
Unfortunately i was late for class.

Well after taking alot of shit from Dom for not posting anything yet I was yet again told by him to post something. Since I actually have some spare time on me hands I might as well create my first virgin post.

So like the other day me and the boys were like bored of our asses doing zilch at home, Ivo, decided we should go to vinces. Here is where we decided to say “hey! Doesn’t Dom’s banner suck monkey balls?” So out of my good heart and will I decided to make him a banner that really screams “THIS SITE ARE BELONG TO US” the camel-and community.

Well after this test run through we decided why not go all out and be as mighty morphin as we can be.

So this is what we came up with…
